The first night I stayed there was music banging on until the early hours. Excellent rooms, spacious lobby, decent breakfast, very close to the city souk, and not far from the city centre shopping area. This hotel is good value and in good area, very accessible to many things in Manama. If you are looking for something which is easy to get to from the airport and the causeway and is reasonably priced then this could be a good choice, Decor in the main part of the hotel is a bit gaudy, rooms are plain but the staff all wear fluorescent purple uniforms so not great if you have had few the night before. There's a TV with lots of channels you'll never watch except maybe BBC 24 on a loop or MTV Asia, a fridge with nothing in it thougj room service is quite fast and efficient.
On the plus side the wi-fi was good and there was no extra charge for it. Rooms are large, we had a twin which was really two double beds, also a balcony. There are a lot of clubs in the hotel which might not suit some people as on the lower floors you can hear the music, though in ours on the second floor we didn't have a problem.
